The new netbook comes in a significantly modified chassis. With the barebones of the Aspire one D250 battery (N455) design, but the form factor and keyboard FineTip has nothing in common. It’s more like a family with the Aspire One 521 (AMD K125).

While the younger brother Intel Atom N450 is now available for around € 300 on Amazon, you have to wait for the Acer Aspire One D255 (N550) until mid November 2010 and pay 50 € more. This investment is worthwhile, but not always, as a performance boost of about 50 percent are there as always. The other option involves then only one of four colors: black diamond, ruby red, brown and sandstone Seemuschelweiß. Has been reduced in the new edition of the Aspire One battery, the power supply, now called MiniGo with 180 grams lighter than 30 percent of conventional energy supplies.

The Acer Aspire One D255 battery of 48 watts, allowing the user depending on applications up to eight hours has not decreased – as the manufacturer. However, you can expect from an effective use of about 5 hours with certainty that the majority of users is enough. Technically there is nothing new, except the processor mentioned in the quiet market surprise netbook can be: 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, 250 GB hard drive, Intel GMA 3150 graphics as a unit, network connections usual, except the 3G option. An operating system Windows 7 potters and provides basic work in the 10-inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels.

Equipment

The D255 offers the simplicity of the usual netbook with diet. The visible connections has three USB 2.0 ports, a card reader (SD / MMC), the VGAConnector (D-Sub), RJ45 LAN connector and two sockets for headphones and microphone. A useful detail is the metal and amplified audio ports that also used in Aspire One D260 battery. Therefore, they are relatively well protected by the collapse.

The discreet webcam frame can display the photos in 1280 x 1024 pixels, absorb (4:3, 1.3 MP). This is the relatively high resolution. Sony or Samsung Netbook usually offer only a VGAResolution (640 x 480). Can this video camera record VGAQuality same.

Operate System

The Acer Aspire one D150 battery netbook has not only Windows 7, the Android smartphone operating system on board. Bring twice the benefits of the inner life?

Acer Aspire One Netbook D255

Android and Windows 7

Tchibo The netbook has two operating systems on board next to “Windows 7″ is “Android” by Google installed, which until now exclusively in the Tablet PC and mobile phones.

Accessories

In terms of software, the manufacturer remains true to his groin and lodged with either the drivers or the recovery DVD. Last Burn in the client must be using eRecovery burner external management. The operating system in the state is working as usual on a recovery partition on the hard disk. In the pre-installed software includes management tools such as Acer ePower Management, Crystal Eye (webcam) or upgrade.

So far I have used 3 laptops and they are Twinhead and 2 Acers(Acer aspire One battery). Usually branded laptops will come with a genuine Windows operating system license and also bundled with a lot of custom applications. An example is my Acer Travelmate 6293 laptop comes with ePower Management, GridVista, Bio Protection, VCM, eRecovery Management and etc. Of course they’re all very useful tools but definitely not for people like me. First thing I do when I got my laptop was to make a full backup of my hidden partition and then reformat the hard drive to install a clean copy of Windows so I can use it without all those unnecessary applications that can slow down my computer.

Although I don’t need all those extra tools, there is one important feature that I need which is able to easily know the Dell Inspiron 1100 battery remaining time or the percentage of the battery level. I know I can move my mouse cursor to the battery icon at the notification area (system tray) which shows the battery remaining time but it’s troublesome and I needed something that I can immediately know just by looking at it. I found a free A1061 battery meter monitoring software and it has some really impressive features.

BatteryBar is a simple, straight-forward, battery meter that monitors the status of your Dell 630m Battery and displays your battery’s status in the taskbar. BatteryBar constantly monitors the status of your battery as you use your laptop. As it monitors your battery, it keeps historical data on your battery and provide you with a very accurate estimate of how much time is remaining on your Inspiron Mini 10 battery.

When you’re running on battery, BatteryBar shows the percentage bar in green, yellow, or red, depending on how much battery power is remaining. The bar displays the time left on your ThinkPad X41 battery in Hours:Minutes. When charging, the percentage bar is shown in blue to indicate charging, and the estimated time to full charge is shown. The bar turns black and shows “On A/C” when fully charged.

BatteryBar has a very useful feature which is able to determine the wear and tear of your HP DV9000 battery. There is no help file to explain how does the “battery wear” works but it seemed to work pretty accurately or at least give you an idea if it’s not. My new Acer laptop battery wear is at 0% because it’s new and I seldom use it. On my old Acer laptop which I’ve been using for 3 years+, it shows a 44.3% wear and full lifetime of 1 hour 19 minutes which I think it’s around there.

There is no executable file to BatteryBar and it loads a few DLL files (batmeter.dll, BatteryBar.dll, BatteryBar.utilities.dll) from explorer.exe. This increases the memory usage of explorer.exe by about 8-9MB. You can’t find any shortcut to launch BatteryBar either because it can be enabled by right clicking the taskbar, go to Toolbars and select BatteryBar. BatteryBar requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and runs on Windows XP/Vista (32bit).

If you like the free version of BatteryBar, you can upgrade to PRO version at the price of only $7.50. The PRO version monitors your battery life and when your battery power vgp-ac19v10 gets low, BatteryBar will notify you with a popup window and a sound. A second notification window appears when your PA3399U-2BRS battery reaches critical level. Other than that, BatteryBar Pro provides you with the ability to change 20 different settings such as language, fonts, warning levels, and etc so that you can customize BatteryBar to your own needs.

Except for the 11.6-inch model the devices with higher apple ibook g3 battery clocked standard-voltage processors are equipped. Predecessor were ultra-low-voltage chips are used. The launch is scheduled for late April.

Acer has presented with the Time Line-X notebook’s successor of the series timeline. The thin notebooks equipped with Intel’s new Core-X and CPU to run with a single battery charge for up to eight hours at a time.

The following devices are available: Aspire 1830T (11.6 inches), Aspire 3820T (13.3 inches), Aspire 4820T (14.0 inch) and Aspire 5820T (15.6 inches). All have a reflecting display with 1366 by 768 pixels resolution.

Unlike the previous Acer is not an ultra-low-voltage, but standard CPUs. They are clocked consume higher but also more power. An exception is the 11.6-inch model, which is equipped with ULV chips. An enlarged from 5600 to 6000 mAh lenovo 3000 g400 battery and other improvements to bring an unchanged battery life of up to eight hours. Whether this value is reached, it must clarify a test. The tested ZDNet 3810T from the Timeline series holds in practice for over six hours.

The 13 -, 14 – and 15-inch models come standard with the DirectX 11 ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 solution or 5650 standard. To save energy, you can go through a switch to the slower Intel graphics, which is installed on the processor. From 14 inches, the devices have an optical sony np-fs11 battery drive.

Aspire One OEM Power supply and Acer Battery
- 30 W adapter with power cord
- 24 W 2200 mAh 3-cell Li-ion battery pack
- 57 W 2600 mAh 6-cell Li-ion battery pack
- 3-hour battery life for SKUS with NAND flash module and 3-cell laptop battery pack
- 7-hour battery life for SKUS with NAND flash module and 6-cell battery pack

Extend Aspire one battery specs :
Chemistry: Li-ion
Volt: 11.1V
Capacity: 4400mAh
Dimension: 203.20 x 29.30 x 20.80 mm
Color: White or black

Just order a new 10-inch aspire one, you will find that its OEM 3 cell battery is too weak ( only can work about 2-3 hours). There are some extend aspire one batteries in the market as 6cells 4400mAh, 6Cells 5800mAh, 9cells 6600mAh. Their work time with wi-fi is 4400mAh 5-6 hours, 5800mAh ( inspiron 1300 battery) 8 hours, 6600mAh 9 hours. You can select one of these to meet your work or fun requirement.

But in my opinion, the 6cell 4400mAh aspire one battery is the best, as it can work about 6 hours that means we have enough time to deal our works or watch a movie. Also it only has 4400mAh 6cells, so its weight is the light as its notebook. You can easily take it to any place. The 6600mAH 9cells aspire onr battery is too heavy that it is strang to meet the light aspire one notebook.

In the beginning, the aspire one battery price is too expensive as its notebook. From engadge t: We fully understand that time is money, but damn. With quite a few folks up in arms over the $50 to $100 price hike on the 6-cell MSI Wind over the standard 3-cell version, we can only imagine the outcries that will come after seeing this. CDW has a product page up that describes an Acer Li-ion 6-cell 5,200mAh battery that’s designed to fit snugly within the $379.99 Acer Aspire One netbook. Let’s see here — a $119.99 battery for a $379.99 computer. Is that the absurdity alarm sounding, or are our ears still ringing from all the weekend revelry? Also The VGP-BPS2 battery is only $120 .

Now the aspire one battery reduced , you can spend $76.53 and £56.17 or less to get it.

Acer has launched a new Notebook, the Aspire 5738PG. Aspire 5738PG may look like just any other notebook Acer laptop battery, but it has something that we have never seen on laptops from Acerbefore, it sports a 15.6 Inch multitouch screen. It doesn’t, however, include a touch optimized user interface of its own on top of Windows 7. All the typical multitouch gestures, including pinching to zoom and two finger scrolling will work on the laptop.
The laptop VGP-BPS2CÂ VGP-BPS2AÂ Â features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Radeon HD 4570 graphics, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive with 64-bit Windows 7 Premium. It is priced at $800, not bad for a laptop like this.

The display was designed to provide an extraordinary cinematic experience that is immersive and incredibly realistic for Dell inspiron 9400. The vibrant HD display is a 16:9 widescreen size that’s ideal for enjoying movies and online entertainment. Plus, it’s LED-backlit, which reduces energy usage and along with the 1366×768-resolution for Sony VGP-BPS8, contributes to the display’s crisp clear visuals. As a result, it’s ideal for enjoying HD movies and touch-control is remarkably precise.

Acer Aspire 5738PG comes in Gemstone Blue color and available on all major computer retail stores across US.
