Acer introduces notebook with Core Series Timeline X-iX and Hybrid Graphics

Except for the 11.6-inch model the devices with higher apple ibook g3 battery clocked standard-voltage processors are equipped. Predecessor were ultra-low-voltage chips are used. The launch is scheduled for late April.

Acer has presented with the Time Line-X notebook’s successor of the series timeline. The thin notebooks equipped with Intel’s new Core-X and CPU to run with a single battery charge for up to eight hours at a time.

The following devices are available: Aspire 1830T (11.6 inches), Aspire 3820T (13.3 inches), Aspire 4820T (14.0 inch) and Aspire 5820T (15.6 inches). All have a reflecting display with 1366 by 768 pixels resolution.

Unlike the previous Acer is not an ultra-low-voltage, but standard CPUs. They are clocked consume higher but also more power. An exception is the 11.6-inch model, which is equipped with ULV chips. An enlarged from 5600 to 6000 mAh lenovo 3000 g400 battery and other improvements to bring an unchanged battery life of up to eight hours. Whether this value is reached, it must clarify a test. The tested ZDNet 3810T from the Timeline series holds in practice for over six hours.

The 13 -, 14 – and 15-inch models come standard with the DirectX 11 ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 solution or 5650 standard. To save energy, you can go through a switch to the slower Intel graphics, which is installed on the processor. From 14 inches, the devices have an optical sony np-fs11 battery drive.

The 1830T will cost from € 549, the 3820T from 699 euros, from 749 € 4820T and the 5820T also from 749 €. The launch is scheduled for late April.
