Brother wins in court against providers of compatible ink cartridges A

The District Court of Düsseldorf has confirmed the decision under appeal. Affected are certain Pelikan and Geha compatible cartridges for Brother cartridge type LC 1000 – 970th and LC Brother sees injured since 2008 a protected utility model.

Brother has prevailed before the District Court of Düsseldorf in the dispute about compatible ink cartridges in two main procedures. The losing parties are the Pelikan mbH & Co. KG and the German Hardcopy AG (Geha), both of which sell ink cartridges for Brother machines.
